Virginia Lee McElhiney

Mrs. Virginia Lee McElhiney was born March 10, 1932 to Joseph Edward and Eliza Jane (Ferguson Fults) Adkison in Maury County, Tennessee. She passed away November 18, 2011 at the Hickman Community Hospital in Centerville. Survivors include: son Buster Dies (Susan) of Dickson; daughter Dinah Potter Oliphant of Dickson; sister Betty Hargrove of Smyrna; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Mrs. McElhiney is preceded in death by her husbands Jim David Dies, Jr. and Jack McElhiney, and brother Roy Edward Adkison. Visitation will be Sunday, November 20th, from 4-8 pm and Monday, November 21st, from 5-8 pm, and on Tuesday, November 22nd, from 9 am until time of service. Funeral will be Tuesday, November 22nd, beginning at 11 am. Burial will follow in the McElhiney Cemetery. Arrangements by Dickson Funreal Home.
