Howard Gray Edwards

Mr. Howard Gray Edwards was born May 19, 1918 to Daniel B. Edwards and Bertha (Thomason) Edwards in Dickson County, Tennessee. He passed away November 7, 2011 at the NHC HealthCare Center of Dickson. Survivors include: daughters Juanita Griffin (Robert) and Wilma Waye (Harold) all of Clarksville; brothers Loys Edwards (Joyce) of Dickson and Glenn Edwards (Sue) of Centerville; sisters Pauline Roberts of Nashville and Verble James of Dickson; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; nineteen great great grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as his beloved care-givers Russell & "Cricket" Spain and Jack & Linda Propps. Besides his parents, Mr. Edwards is preceded in death by his wife Mary Ruth Edwards and brothers Earl, Loyd, Joe, and Boyd Edwards. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Dickson First United Methodist Church.
