Mary Lou Harris

Mrs. Mary Lou Harris was born November 21, 1916 to Robert Malcolm Neal, Sr. and Lena (McCartney) Neal in Greenville, Mississippi. She passed away October 2, 2011 at Richland Place Health Care in Nashville, Tennessee. Survivors include: daughter Marilyn Smith, Jr. (Jim) of Antioch; nieces Vivian Lovvorn of Bell Buckle and Linda Rucker (Dale) of Christiana; nephews Dr. Slayden Harris of St.Louis, Dan Sanders (Lois) of Dickson, and Roy Harris of Lebanon; sister-in-law Helen Neal of Jackson, MS and Mildred Harris of Shelbyville; nieces Linda Henderson (Richard) of Brandon, MS and Beth Garland of Jackson, MS; nephew Bob Neal; grandson Jamie Smith; and several cousins. Visitation and funeral services will be from the West End Church of Christ in Nashville on Monday, October 24th. Visitation will begin at 10:30 am with the service to follow at 1 pm with Bro. Paul Brown and Bro. Phil Kinzer officiating. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery of Dickson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Church of Christ Disaster Relief program.
