John Cephas Manier

Mr. John Cephas Manier was born February 7, 1939 to John Henry Manier and Nettie (Dyer) Manier in Davidson County, Tennessee. He passed away October 19, 2011 at the NHC HealthCare Center of Dickson. Survivors include: two sons, John Michael Manier of Madison and Sherman Hartman of White Bluff; two daughters, Michelle Hurtado (Danny) of Kansas City, Missouri and Debra Duke of White Bluff; sister Rose Lyle (Charles); and six grandchildren. Besides his parents, Mr. Manier is preceded in death by his wives Patricia Burton Manier (mother of his children) and Daisy Belle Hartman. Visitation will be at the White Bluff Chapel on Friday, October 21st, from 4-8 pm and Saturday, October 22nd, from 9 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Saturday, October 22nd, at the White Bluff Chapel beginning at 10 am with Bro. Fred Mayberry officiating. Burial will follow at 12 Noon at the Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville. Mr. Manier was a member of the Russell Street Church of Christ for many years before moving to White Bluff where he was a member of the Taylor Town congregation. He served his country in the United States Army. Arrangements by the White Bluff Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home.
