Barbara Aline Blanks

Mrs. Barbara Aline Blanks was born June 24, 1937 to Melvin and Winifred (Petty) Hickerson in Dickson County, Tennessee. She passed away October 13, 2011 at her residence in White Bluff at the age of 74. She is survived by: four sons, Robert Scott Blanks, Steven Ray Blanks (Tracey), Russell Shane Blanks (Denise), and Johnny Reb Blanks; four daughters, Roxanna Heckathorn (Bruce), Sherry Fann, Robin Lorrain Pickard (David), and Missy Blanks; brother Tom Hickerson (Jan); 29 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Mrs. Blanks is preceded in death by her husband George "Buddy" Blanks and grandchildren Maranda, Jessica, and Ty. Visitation with the family (White Bluff Chapel) will be Thursday, October 13th, from 5-8 pm, Friday, October 14th, from 10 am until 8 pm, Saturday, October 15th, from 10 am until 8 pm, and Sunday, October 16th, from 10 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Sunday, October 16th, from the White Bluff Chapel beginning at 2 pm with Pastor Bobby Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in the NoseGay Cemetery.
