Eldridge Elijah Heath

Mr. Eldridege Elijah Heath was born January 16, 1918 to Burl and Mamie (Hooper) Heath in Dickson County, Tennessee. He passed away October 5, 2011 at his residence in Dickson. He is survived by: daughters Reba Perez (Oscar) and Mamie Jo Welch; sister Lucille Tyler; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Besides his parents, Mr. Heath is preceded in death by his wife Rena Elizabeth (Wall) Heath, brothers Elihue and Leslie Heath, and sisters Alvie Spann and Ora Hayes. Visitation will be Thursday, October 6th, from 5-8 pm and Friday, October 7th, from 10 am until time of service. Funeral will be Friday, October 7th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 1 pm with Bro. James Wall and Bro. Edgar Beard officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Heath was a welder (retired) with General Motors. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
