Mary Marie Brown

Mrs. Mary Marie Brown was born November 20, 1922 to Emmett Lee and Myrtle (Hall) Edmisson in Humphreys County, Tennessee. She passed away September 13, 2011 at the NHC HealthCare Center in Dickson. She is survived by: brothers Thomas, Douglas, and Kenneth Edmisson; sisters Mildred Penoli, Betty Gillum, Peggy Anderson, and Sandra Whittinghill; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her husband Hugh Dudley Brown, brother James Evert Edmisson, and sister Katherine Thompson. Mrs. Brown is a retired Licensed Practical Nurse, having worked at Goodlark Hospital. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 14th, from 5-8 pm and Thursday, September 15th from 10 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Thursday, September 15th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 2 pm with Bro. Roger Michael officiating. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery.
