Hazel Irene Hamilton

Mrs. Hazel Irene Hamilton was born March 18, 1916 to William H. Hargrove and Mary Etta (Mathis) Hargrove in Dickson County, Tennessee. She passed away September 9, 2011 at her residence in Dickson. She was 95 years of age. Survivors include: sons James R. Hamilton and Chuck R. Hamilton (Vickie); daughters Jerri Barber (Jimmy) and Dorothy Potter; sister Stella Hamilton; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and ten great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, September 10th, from 1-8 pm and Sunday, September 11th, from 12 Noon until time of service. Funeral services will be Sunday, September 11th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 2 pm with Bro. Donnie Craig officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery of Dickson. Pall Bearers include Robert Durham, Johnny Underhill, David Faulkner, Jason Elsea, Chris Hamilton, Jeff Barber, and Mike Barber. Mrs. Hamilton was a member of the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.
