Leslie Robert Daugherty

Mr. Leslie Robert Daugherty was born February 28, 1938 to Gilp and Lizzie (Taylor) Daugherty, Sr. in Dickson County, Tennessee. He passed away September 4, 2011 at the Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. Survivors include: son Dennis Daugherty of White Bluff; daughter Jennifer Daugherty Hooper (Matthew) of White Bluff; brother Gilp Daugherty, Jr. (Rita) of White Bluff; and granddaughter Emme Elizabeth Hooper. Besides his parents, Mr. Daugherty is preceded in death by brothers Joe, John, Oscar, and Lawrence Daughery, sisters Maudie Lee Sullivan and Elsie Daugherty, half sister Naomi Hutchinson, and infant sister Emmer Daugherty. Mr. Daugherty was retired from Interstate Packaging where he worked as a mechanic. He was also a long-time volunteer fire fighter. Visitation will be Monday, September 5th, at the White Bluff Chapel from 4-8 pm and Tuesday, September 6th, from 10 am until time of service. Funeral will be Tuesday, September 6th, at the White Bluff Chapel beginning at 2 pm with Bro. Ralph Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery in White Bluff.
