Ruby Jo Hagewood

Mrs. Ruby Jo Hagewood was born March 17, 1918 to Rufus and Alice (Walker) Proctor in Dickson County, Tennessee. She passed away August 28, 2011 at Alive Hospice of Skyline Medical Center, Madison Campus. Survivors include: daughters Twilla Williams of Stayton, Willa Williams of Old Hickory, and Janis Biter (Kenneth) of Charlotte; sister Mattie Stokes of Alabama; half-brothers Lonnie, Linden, and Alvin Proctor (all of Burns); half-sisters Joyce Proctor Dudly and Gail Proctor Whitman (both of Dickson); fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Mrs. Hagewood is preceded in death by her husband Ralph E. Hagewood, son Doyce Wayne Hagewood, infant grandson Vincent Dwayne Biter, and step-mother Fronie Carver Proctor. Visitation will be Monday, August 29th, from 4-9 pm and Tuesday, August 30th, from 9 am until time of service. Funeral will be Tuesday, August 30th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 11 am with Bro. Paul Sitton and Bro. Mark Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Springs Cemetery. Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home.
