Mrs. Faye Anderson was born November 3, 1938 to Harlan Durwood Lampley and Ora Lucille (Hall) Lampley in Dickson County, Tennessee. She passed away August 13, 2011 at Boulevard Terrace Nursing Home in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She was 72 years of age. She was the 7th of ten children. She retired from SunTrust Bank after 41 years of service. Faye graduated from White Bluff High School, class of 1956. She was captain of her high school basketball team, earning all-district status as a guard during her senior year. Survivors include: her husband of 53 years Thomas Anderson, daughter Lisa Armstrong (Greg) of Murfreesboro, brothers Harlan and Jerry Lampley (both of White Bluff) and Michael Lampley of Columbia, Maryland, and sister Aarah Harlan of Russellville, Kentucky. Also survived by two grandchildren, Tyler Dakota and Katlyne Hope Armstrong. She was much loved "Aunt Faye" to many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews on both sides of her and her husband's families. Besides her parents, Mrs Anderson is preceded in death by brothers Kent and Robert "Bob" Lampley, and sisters Rena Sullivan, Elizabeth Peay, and Brenda Mackins. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her. Visitation will be Monday, August 15th, from 1-9 pm and Tuesday, August 16th, from 9 am until time of service. Funeral will be Tuesday, August 16th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 11 am with Bro. Calvin Parker officiating. Burial will follow in the Halls Cemetery in Burns.
