Lura Dean Hagewood

Mrs. Lura Dean Hagewood was born March 9, 1921 to Jim and Sallie Hampton in Dickson County, Tennessee. She passed away June 25, 2011 at her residence in Dickson. Survivors include: son Steve Hagewood and his wife Jeanie of Dickson; daughter Gayle Collins of Dickson; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Mrs. Hagewood is preceded in death by her husband, Bailey Hagewood, brothers Howard and Lester Hampton, and sisters Bessie Hampton and Lizzie Mae Loggins. Visitation will be Monday, June 27th, from 4-8 pm and Tuesday, June 28th, from 9 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 28th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 11 am with Bro. Joe Finn officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery.
