Charlie B. Cathey

Mr. Charlie B. Cathey was born August 17, 1940 to William Grover Cleveland Cathey and Mable Leona (Odom) Cathey in Hickman County, Tennessee. He passed away May 25, 2011 at his daughter's residence in Dickson. Survivors include: wife Mary Cathey; son Charles Edward Cathey (Tina); daughters Judy Ann Shadowens (Red) and Susan Lynn Cathey; brothers Clayton Cathey (Masel) and John T. Cathey; sister Mamie Alderidge; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides his parents, Mr. Cathey is preceded in death by four sisters and brothers Kale, Jay C, Eugene, and Jesse Cathey. Visitation will be Thursday, May 26th, from 5-8 pm, and Friday, May 27th, from 10 am - 8 pm, and Saturday, May 28th, from 10 am until time of service. Funeral will be Saturda, May 28th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 1 pm with Bro. Donnie Craig officiating. Burial will follow in the Missionary Ridge Cemetery in Bon Aqua.
