William Omer Forster, Jr.

Mr. William Omer Forster, Jr. was born September 12, 1921 to William Omer Forster, Sr. and Nellie Inez (Choate) Forster in Hickman County, Tennessee. He passed away April 27, 2011 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. He is survived by: sons Robert Lee Forster (Martha) of Nashville and James W. Light (Alice) of Camden; daughter Rebecca Pennington of Dearborn, Michigan; brothers Lee Forster of McEwen, Carl Forster of Flynt, Michigan, Weldon Forster of Dickson, and Earl Forster of McEwen; sister Corelene Harris of Centerville; grandchildren Tony Forster (Jamie) and Pamela Laberge (Joe); several great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Mr. Forster is preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Jean Forster. Mr. Forster proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1942-45. Visitation will be Friday, April 29th, from 3-8 pm and Saturday, April 30th, from 12 Noon until time of service. Funeral service will be Saturday, April 30th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 4 pm with Bro. Jim Suddeath officiating. Burial will follow in the Edgewood Cemetery.
