Leonard Merlin Craft

May 16, 1926 — April 24, 2011

Mr. Leonard Merlin Craft was born May 16, 1926 to Marley Merlin Craft and Irene (Martin) Craft in Dana, Indiana. He passed away at his residence in Bon Aqua on April 24, 2011. He was 84 years of age. He is survived by: three sons, Chris Craft, Dan Craft, and Ben Craft and his wife Jennifer (all of Danville, Indiana); step-son, Ritchie Keller of Cayuga, Indiana; daughter Kathy Sine of Bon Aqua; two brothers, Marvin Craft of Lodi, Indiana and Art Craft of Cayuga, Indiana; four sisters, Alice Ripple of Terra Haute, Indiana, Beulah Wilkerson and Jane Andrews (both of Cayuga, Indiana) and Maxine Robers of Fontana, California. There are five grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Craft is preceded in death by his sister Evelyn Williamson, an infant son, step-son Michael Keller, and granddaughter Amber Craft. Mr. Craft proudly served his country in the United States Marines during World War II. He was a POW in Germany. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 27th, from 3-8 pm and Thursday, April 28th, from 9 am until time of service. Funeral will be Thursday, April 28th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 11 am with Bro. Donnie Craig officiating. Burial will follow in the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on McCrory Lane.
