Mary Laverne Betty

Mrs. Mary Laverne Betty was born May 26, 1935 to Elvis Stanley and Marine Donnell (Breece) Haley in Hickman County, Tennessee. She passed away April 12, 2011 at Madison Health Care Center. She is survived by: two sons, Gary Betty of Madison and James M. Betty (and his wife Marilee Meaders) of Euless, Texas; sister LaLonnie Livengood (and her husband Phillip) of Cullman, Alabama; sisters-in-law Ruby Riesland and Ann McClellan, several nieces and nephews; and granddogs Gizmo and Charlie. Mrs. Betty was retired from Red Kap Manufacturing Company of Dickson. Visitation will be Thursday, April 14th, from 12:30 pm until time of service. Services will begin at 3 pm from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Fred Mayberry officiaing. At the request of the deceased and the family, the body will be cremated.
