Thomas Maurice Stuart

Mr. Thomas Maurice "Creeping" Stuart was born May 22, 1925 to William Thomas Stuart and Lera May (Howell) Stuart in Dickson County, Tennessee. He passed away April 4, 2011 at Richland Nursing Home in Nashville. He was a loving husband, father, and papa. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Louise, son Richard Lee Warden and his wife Barbara, granddaughter Nikki Marie Warden,and grandson Erik Hunter Warden, whom he dearly loved. He served on the Dickson County Commission, White Bluff Council, Dickson Senior Citizen Advisory Board, Hutton Cemetery Association (chairman). He was a barber for 55 years. He served his country in the United States Army. Visitation will take place at the White Bluff Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 6th, from 1-8 pm and Thursday, April 7th, from 10 am until time of service. Funeral services will be Thursday, Apri 7th, from the White Bluff Chapel beginning at 2 pm with Rev. Mike Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the Hutton Cemetery. Active pall bearers include Erik Warden, Jackie Sadler, Lloyd Hall, Sy Tangerstrom, Terry Hall, Dezie Akers, Sr., and Dezie Aker, Jr. Honorary pall bearers include Carl Dugan, Johnny Burns, Mark Burns, James Burns, Learton Whitfield, Eric Deal, and Alan Johnson.
