Helen Louise Tomblin

Mrs. Helen Louise Tomblin was born March 23, 1931 to Wilson and Elizabeth (Fairchild) Blevins in Robinette, West Virginia. She passed away March 6, 2011 at her daughter's residence in Dickson. She was 79 years of age. Survivors include: son James Edison Tomblin of Olympia, Kentucky; daughters Myrtle Lucille Beasley of Dickson and Glenna Ruth Woodhuff of Wooster, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren, two step grandchildren, fifteen great great grandchildren, and four step great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Mrs. Tomblin is preceded in death by her husband Virgil Tomblin and son Robert Arnold Tomblin. She is the oldest survivor of seven brothers and sisters. Visitation will be Thursday, March 10th, from 12 Noon until 8 pm and Friday, March 11th, from 10 am until time of service. Funeral will be Friday, March 11th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 1 pm with Sister Beulah Lampley and Bro. James Halkis officiating. Burial will follow in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
