Betty Harris Ferebee

Mrs. Betty Harris Ferebee was born February 9, 1917 to Wayne Willauer Harris and Maude (Loggins) Harris in Dickson County, Tennessee. She passed away January 29, 2011 at the NHC HealthCare Center of Dickson. She was a member of the Dickson First United Methodist Church. Survivors include: sons James C. Ferebee and his wife Wanda (of Dickson) and Jack Ferebee and his wife Donna (of St. Paul, Minnesota); sisters Eleanor Harris Daniel (of Dickson) and Mary Agnes Harris Holmes (of Clarksville); five grandchildren Kimberly F. Allen, Emily F.Nelson, James Cooper Ferebee, Jr., Charles M. Seay, Jr., and Joseph H. Seay; and thirteen great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Mrs. Ferebee is preceded in death by her husband Joe Cooper Ferebee, daughters Betty Jo Ferebee and Sarah Alice Seay Williams, brothers Tom Harris and Rev. William G. Harris, and sisters Sarah Harris Fielder and Clara Harris Lee. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 1st, from 4-8 pm and Wednesday, February 2nd, from 8:30 am until time of service. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 2nd, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 10:30 am with Rev. Allen Weller officiating. Burial will follow in the Harris Cemetery in Cumberland Furnace.
