Gladys Opal Smith

Mrs. Gladys Opal Smith was born March 5, 1921 to Arthur and Hautie (Murphy)Jones in Dickson County, Tennessee. She passed away January 18, 2011 at the NHC HealthCare Center in Dickson. Survivors include: son Danny Floyd; step-daughter Joy Sullivan (Jimmie); brother Nolan Jones; sisters Minnie Lee Jones and Louise Lomax; two step grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her sisters Ida Wilson, Ila Bellar, Annie Coleman, Betty Qualls, and Shirley Street, and brothers Herman, Paul, Hershell, Ralph, John Hugh, and Ray. Burial will be January 20th at the Edgewood Cemetery.
