Arthur Preston Donaldson

Mr. Arthur Preston Donaldson was born March 16, 1934 to Albert Harrison Donaldson and Nettie (Brewer) Donaldson in Lewis County, Tennessee. He passed away January 15, 2010 at his residence in Dover. He was 76 years of age. Survivors include: his wife, Joyce Donaldson; four sons, Jimmy Wayne Donaldson (Misty), Kevin Donaldson (Celesta), Larry Donaldson, Preston Donaldson, Jr. (Darlene); step-son, Paul Litteral, II (Diana); three daughters, Joy dotson (Randle), Anita Quillen (Randall), and Susan McCollum; two sisters, Ruby Kimbro and Flora Lee Whitehead; seven grandchildren, Randy, Joanna, Crystal, Justin, Matthew, Danielle, Amelia; seven great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Madison, Joshua, Mellissa, Laura Beth, Luke, and Erin. Besides his parents, Mr. Donaldson is preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children Betty Jean Donaldson, sister Christine Staggs, and brothers Arie, Melvin, Thomas Harvell, Lester, and Elvin Donaldson. Mr. Donaldson proudly served his country in the United States Army from which he retired. He was buried on January 18th at the Adcock Cemetery in Dickson with full military honors.
