Robert Cecil McGowan

Robert Cecil McGowan was born July 29, 1945 to Gifford and Lois Mae McGowan in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He passed away December 20, 2010 at the NHC HealthCare Center in Dickson. He was 65 years of age. He is survived by his sister, Wanda Featherston of White Lake, Michigan, and nephews David Featherston (of White Lake,Michigan) and Brian Featherston (Of South Carolina). Mr. McGowan worked as a security guard with Murray Guard, Inc. of Jackson, TN. He was a member of the Crossroads Church of God of Prophecy in White Bluff. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 22nd, from 3-8 pm and Thursday, December 23rd, from 9 am until time of service. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 23rd, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 11 am with Pastor Gary Riley officiating. Burial will be beside his parents in the Carter's Chapel Cemetery in McLemoresville, TN.
