Mildred Juanita Walker

Mrs. Mildred Juanita Walker was born October 15, 1921 to Robert William and Elizabeth (Coleman) Choate in Dickson County, Tennessee. She passed away September 14, 2010 at Hickman Community Hospital in Centerville, Tennessee. She is survived by: 3 sons, Larry Walker (Joyce) of Bon Aqua, Billy Walker (Paula) of Waverly, Jerry Wayne Baker of Bon Aqua; daughter, Evelyn Pendergrass (Carter) of Bon Aqua; 3 brothers, Noel "Skeet" Choate (Maria) of Vanleer, Buford Choate (Jean) of Vanleer, Maurice Choate of Summertown, TN. There are nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Mrs. Walker is preceded in death by her husband Hillard Walker, son David Walker, Sr., brother Walton Choate, sister Gertie June Choate, and grandson Tim Walker. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, September 15th, from 4-8 pm and Thursday, September 16th, from 10 am until time of service. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 16th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 2 pm with Pastor Thomas Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in the McElhiney Cemetery.
