Mrs. Vivian Marsheilla Rodriguez was born November 4, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois. She passed away September 11, 2010 at the NHC HealthCare Center of Dickson. She is survived by: her husband, Aristeo (Art) Rodriguez, Sr. of Dickson; Father, John Grooms of Humphreys County; mother, Vivian (Collins) Grooms of Dickson; son, Aristeo Rodriguez, Jr. of Ft. Hood, Texas (currently stationed in Iraq); 3 step-sons, Andy, Alfredo, and Adam Rodriguez of Quad City, Illinois; daughter, Stephanie L. Rodriguez of Dickson; 2 step-daughters, Sylvia and Delia Rodriguez of Quad City, Illinois; brother, Robert Eugene Grooms of Millington, TN; 2 sisters, Patricia Taylor of Morrison, TN and Breanda Carol Rodriguez of New Johnsonville; grandchild, Alyssa Angelique Rodriguez of Dickson; and many other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lissa Carol Rodriguez, and sisters Lissa Joy Hawk and Terry Lynn Grooms. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, September 15th, from 11 am until time of service. A memorial service will be Wednesday, September 15th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 2 pm with Bro. Roger White officiating. At the request of the deceased and her family, the body will be cremated.
