Mary Underhill Dalton

Mrs. Mary Underhill Dalton was born October 24, 1918 to Bozark and Lois Hutcheson Underhill in Dickson County, Tennessee. She passed away September 5, 2010 at the NHC HealthCare Center in Dickson. She is survived by her nieces: Judy Lewis Dunnagan, Reba Underhill Hamrick, Thelma Underhill Stinson, Mary Underhill Eubank, Mary Underhill Davidson, Joyce Underhill Carroll, Janice Underhill Hall, Patricia Underhill Wilkins, Debbie Underhill Deleary, Sherron Brannon Daubenspeck, Brenda Tidwell Caldwell, Jane Buchanan, and Jo Buchanan Burkett. She is also survived by her nephews: Dale Brannon, Wayne Tidwell, Kenneth Tidwell, Rex Tidwell, Billie Underhill, Johnny Underhill, Gary Underhill, Paul Underhill, Kenneth Underhill, Bobby Underhill, and Rickey Underhill. There are numerous grand and great grand nieces and nephews, among those a special great niece and care-giver, Greta Hall. Besides her parents, Mrs. Dalton is preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Cobby) Dalton, and brothers Cecil, Percy, J.W. and Edgar Underhill, and sisters Thelma Lewis, Christine Tidwell, Alline Buchanan, Lola Mae Tidwell, and Betty Brannon. Visitation will be Monday, September 6th, from 4-8 pm and Tuesday, September 7th, from 9 am until time of service. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 7th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 1 pm with Rev. Allen Weller officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Dickson, American Cancer Society, Diabetes Association of Middle Tennessee. or the charity of your choice.
