Jewell Dudley Gossett

Mr. Jewell Dudley Gossett was born April 26, 1925 to John and Viola Gossett in Dickson County, Tennessee. He passed away August 25, 2010 at Alive Hospice at Skyline Madison Campus. He served his country in the United States Army. Survivors include: sons, Sammy, Danny, and Michael (Monica) Gossett; daughters, Carol Sue Gossett, Brenda Whitcomb, and Ruth Ann Vivrett (Emmett); 11 grandchildren, Jennifer Street, Kristen Bryant, Tonya Gossett, Rockey Gossett, Blake McRee, Tyler McRee, Brandon Gossett, Jessa Gossett, Hannah Gossett, Melanie Wills, and Jeff Heflin; 15 great grandchildren, Jessica Street, Maddie Street, Christopher Bryant, Stephanie Gossett, Mindy Gossett, Brandon Gossett, Lauren Gossett, Dylan Gossett, Paige Gossett, Bailey Gossett, Jordan Gossett, McKenzie Heflin, Christopher Heflin, Kylan Wills, and Allie Wills. Besides his parents, Mr. Gossett was preceded by his wife Milbrey May Gossett, brother Chester Gossett and sisters Vallie Doris and Zorene Brahnam. Visitation will be Thursday, August 26th, from 3-8 pm and Friday, August 27th, from 10 am until time of service. Funeral services will be Friday, August 27th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 2 pm with Bro. Donnie Hutchison and Bro. Jimmy Moize officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Taylor Town Cemetery.
