Frederick Dennis Martin

Mr. Frederick Dennis Martin was born September 3, 1920 to Albert and Georgia (Cooper) Martin in Hickman County, Tennessee. He passed away June 17, 2010 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He is survived by his wife, Laura Marie Martin; daughter, Laura Morrow (Joe); and sister, Ruth Downey. There are four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, June 21st, from 9 am until time of service. Funeral Services will be Monday, June 21st, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 1 pm with Bro. Troy Dugger officiating. Burial will follow in the Cooper Cemetery in Hickman County. Mr. Martin served his country in the United States Marines during World War II, receiving the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
