Elizabeth Simmons

Mrs. Elizabeth Simmons was born September 8, 1917 in Dickson County, Tennessee. She passed away May 30, 2010 at the NHC HealthCare Center of Dickson. Survivors include her son, Mim Mitchell Simmons; daughter, Kay (Timothy) Sprankle, and grandchild, Alec Simmons. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Newton Simmons, son Van Simmons, and brothers Wallace, Wilson, James, and Van Simmons. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 1st, from 11 AM until 8 PM and Wednesday, June 2nd, from 10 AM until time of service. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 2nd, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 1 PM with Bro. Roger Murray officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart Cemetery in Burns.
