Mary Elizabeth Poteete

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Poteete, age 88 of Fairview, passed away September 14, 2009 at the Dickson HealthCare Center. She is survived by: three sons; Ronald (Sandra) Poteete, Billy Poteete, and Jimmy (Diane) Poteete; one daughter, Daisy Mae (Dennis) Thacker; two brothers, Raymond Kennedy and William Kennedy; three sisters, Mildred Kennedy, Etta Kennedy, and Atalie Owens. There are five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Poteete, parents John and Nina (Pruitt) Kennedy, and sons Johnny, Donald, James, and Bobby Poteete. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, September 16th, from 11 AM until 8 PM and Thursday, September 17th, from 12 Noon until time of service. Funeral will be Thursday, September 17th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 2 PM with Bro. Donnie Craig officiating. Burial will follow in the Hudgins Cemetery in Fairview.
