Lula Mae Yates

Mrs. Lula Mae Yates, age 91 of Dickson, passed away August 20, 2009 at the NHC HealthCare Center in Dickson. She was a high school graduate, having never missed a single day of school during her twelve years. Survivors include one daughter, Sue (Robin) Quin, of Dickson. There are four grandchildren; Jeffrey, Derrick, Michael, and Richie Cannon; and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Yates, parents Fate and Susie (Tidwell) Allen, step-daughter Dolores Brazzell, step-son Frederick Yates, and brother Carl Allen. Visitation will be Saturday, August 22nd, from 4-8 PM and Sunday, August 23rd, from 12 Noon until time of service. Funeral services will be Sunday, August 23rd, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 2 PM with Bro. Wade Powers officiating. Burial will follow in Dickson's Union Cemetery.
