Delma Gillum Harden Smith

Mrs. Delma Gillum Harden Smith, age 95 of Dickson, passed away August 11, 2009 at the NHC HealthCare Center of Dickson. She was a retired office manager for Red Kap Industries of Dickson. She is survived by nephews James H. Hill of Madison, Robert H. Hobbs of Charleston, West Virginia, and Neil (Betty) Gillum of Dickson. There are several great nieces and great nephews. She is preceded in death by husbands V.L. Harden and Jack Smith, parents Thomas Oscar and Addie Pearl (Lovette) Gillum, brothers Floyd and J.E. Gillum, and sisters Zoe Gillum and Louise Hobbs. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, August 12th, from 3-8 PM and Thursday, August 13th, from 10 AM until time of service. Funeral Services will be Thursday, August 13th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 2 PM with Dr. Jim Chatham officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery in Dickson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund and The Mission Program.
